Space is money in any factory or warehouse. When old machinery, redundant plant, cable offcuts, and scrap metal pile up, you lose productive floor space and tie up value that could be back in your pocket.

We clear factories and warehouses and the wider. We buy the scrap metal, cable, e-waste, redundant plant and machinery on site, remove it, and pay you for it — so you free up the space and turn surplus into money at the same time.

Quick Facts & Key Takeaways

  • We clear and factories and warehouses, buying scrap metal, cable, e-waste, and redundant machinery and plant.

  • Scrap prices move daily with metal grade, weight, cleanliness, and market demand, so ask us for today's rate before you clear.
  • Separating your metals and stripping non-metal fittings before collection gives you a stronger valuation and a faster job.
  • You need a valid SA ID or passport and proof of address to sell, under the Second-Hand Goods Act, 2009.

What a factory or warehouse clearance involves

A clearance is straightforward from your side. You tell us what you have, we quote, we collect, we weigh and grade on our own weighbridge, and we pay you. Typical loads from a factory or warehouse clear-out include:

  • Structural steel, sheet, and offcuts, plus cast iron and heavy melting steel.
  • Copper, brass, aluminium, and stainless steel — pipes, fittings, bar, and cable.
  • Electric motors, cable reels, and insulated wire.
  • E-waste, old control panels, and redundant electronics.
  • Redundant machinery and plant you no longer run.

For larger jobs we can place a bin on site so your team can load at their own pace, then we collect when it is full. See our scrap metal skip bin hire for how that works.

How the process works

  1. Tell us what you have. Send a list or photos of the metal, cable, e-waste, and equipment you need cleared, along with your location.
  2. Get a quote. We quote on the material and arrange a collection date that fits around your operations.
  3. We collect. Our crew removes the scrap from your site, including heavier items that need proper handling.
  4. We weigh and grade. Every load is weighed on a verified weighbridge and graded so you can see how the payment is worked out.
  5. You get paid. Payment is by same-day EFT once the load is weighed and graded.

Getting the best valuation

Scrap is priced by graded weight, so preparation pays. Clean, sorted metal grades higher than a mixed, dirty load:

  • Separate copper, aluminium, brass, stainless steel, and steel into their own piles where you can.
  • Strip insulation from cable and remove non-metal fittings — this can move copper up to a cleaner, higher-priced grade.
  • Keep e-waste and batteries separate so they can be handled and priced correctly.

Indicative rates give you a sense of the spread: copper R105–R177/kg, brass R25–R75/kg, aluminium R5–R45/kg, stainless R5–R32/kg, and scrap steel R1.20–R4.00/kg. Rates shift daily, so we confirm the figure on the day and settle by graded weight on our weighbridge.

Working responsibly and legally

Handling industrial and hazardous waste, including e-waste, is regulated under the National Environmental Management: Waste Act (NEMWA). Selling your redundant metal and e-waste to a registered yard keeps that material out of landfill and out of trouble. We are registered under the Second-Hand Goods Act, 2009, so you will need a valid SA ID or passport and proof of address when you sell.

Conclusion

Factory and warehouse clearances turn dead floor space and redundant metal into money. Ask us for today's rate, prepare and separate your scrap where you can, and we will clear the site, weigh it on a verified weighbridge, and pay you by same-day EFT.
